We challenge entrenched thinking and belief systems, enabling our young people to break the perpetual cycle of under-achievement.

When I heard about the project it sounded amazing on so many levels and I thought every school should have one. It is such a great opportunity for children to work as a team to develop confidence, identity, purpose and all the other things that go with group and team work. And the idea of the ongoing commitment is the icing on the cake, alongside the passion and enthusiasm of Debs and Mel.

The input from Monday’s Child has been invaluable to our young people. Working with some of our most vulnerable children, they have built positive working relationships that have impacted on resilience, confidence, well-being and self-esteem. The programme is tightly managed with clear outcomes and children have responded overwhelming positively to the experience.
